Posted Sep. 5/06
On August 1, Carleton introduced a new policy that prohibits smoking on campus except in 21 Designated Smoking Areas (DSAs). The new policy is in step with the Ontario government’s recent Smoke-Free Ontario Act 2005, which prohibits smoking in enclosed workplaces, company vehicles, and enclosed public places, and is part of the University’s commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment for all members of the Carleton community. To find out where the DSAs are located, visit carleton.ca/cu/campus.
