Sprott School of Business Women in Management students at Carleton University were invited to attend the Prime Minister’s reception on Parliament Hill and hear a discussion about a new report to be released by the Prime Minister’s Task Force on Women Entrepreneurs during Question Period.
Created at the request of The Right Honourable Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, the task force has crossed the country to consult widely about the challenges and issues facing women entrepreneurs. Earlier this year, Barbara Orser, Associate Professor, Sprott School of Business, was invited to make a presentation to the task force. The class was briefed about the task force and were armed with lots of questions for the Prime Minister.
